Farewell to a friend:
Of all of us, you were the least afraid. A master of invincible youth.
This is not our life as intended, saying a fond farewell to a friend. It's not how it should have ended and I can't pretend. ‘Too Soon’ Too Soon’ is the common cry and the mourners will gather and we will all try and make sense of loosing a beloved friend.
And when this day of sorrow closes what then? When each tomorrow calls in to remind us all that you have gone. We will try instead to remember a song we sang, this moment or that, one summer or one night when this all began. We never dreamt that this day would come and we would say farewell to a friend.
